In summary – a business owner, start-up guy, multi-industry marketing expert, and has “been around the block” (several times)…

A Campbell University graduate, Ken is a seasoned leader and “marketing expert” in traditional, digital and social media catering many industries, with  niche skill sets in the Automotive, Professional Services, Non-Profit and Special Event verticals.

Ken offers a unique blend of local and national marketing experiences in sales, sales management and executive level positions with leading media corporations (Landmark Communications, Trader Publishing & Cox Enterprises), including five (5) Startups.

He earned the opportunity to be part of an eight person team that launched AutoTrader.com, to the point of profitability.

As a regional Director, he helped Stoneage Media/Car.com propel into one of Inc.’s 500 fastest growing private companies, acquired by publicly traded Autobytel, Inc.

And he accepted the role of VP Sales & Business Development for Dealer.com where he led revenue generating initiatives, developed structure and created business strategy focused on search engine marketing (SEM), website development and lead management solutions, later acquired by Cox Automotive.

He successfully launched the east coast expansion initiatives for Search Optics, Inc. and today, owns and operates AdImpact.Marketing, consulting on behalf of clients as their in house fractional CMO.  He’s a partner with Automark Solutions, LLC, a technology company helping retail clients develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies, website conversion tactics and consumer engagement to maximize lead generation, buyer experience and achieve competitive advantage; all very transferable to ANY industry.

While Ken participates on several company boards, he & his wife Laurie, dedicate themselves to their friends, family and children’s activities and are “plugged into” the fabric of the Hampton Roads community as life-long residents.

Ken’s passion to improve Mental Health & Brain Fitness through The PingPong.GIVES Charity Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and its national PingPongforCHARITY™ events, both of which Ken founded, is a story worth hearing!
